Commissioning authority for data center expansion by financial sector tenant of CB Richard Ellis, Kansas City, MO

• reliatech was hired as the commissioning authority for an infrastructure addition for a major national bank.
• We commissioned both electrical and mechanical systems at this mission critical data center. All of the systems had to be tested while the facility was live.
• Electrical 2025 kW UPS system with 2 (N+1) redundancy, static transfer switches, 1500 kW diesel generator addition, complete replacement of redundant paralleling gear.
• Mechanical 640 tons of new chiller capacity, bringing N+1 redundant capacity of 960 tons, new and upgraded cooling towers and pumps.
• reliatech discovered an incorrect UPS system input filter synchronization and the need to adjust control logic to prevent the restart of equipment after loss of power.
